GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®
The Gyrotonic Expansion System is an exercise system that uniquely addresses virtually every aspect of health.
Benefits include:

-
strengthening the cardiorespiratory system
-
retraining the neuromuscular system
-
improving lymphatic drainage and flow
-
increasing flexibility and range of motion
-
correcting muscular imbalances
-
developing greater functional strength
-
improve balance, agility, and coordination

The Gyrotonic Expansion System is comprised of "mat" exercises, the GYROKINESIS® Method, and equipment-based training, the GYROTONIC® Method. Both methods make use of rhythmic spiraling and circular movements coordinated with breathing patterns to facilitate joint movement through a natural range of motion.
Manual Therapy
Manual therapy can accelerate the beneficial effects of Gyrotonic exercise by encouraging further release of restrictions in the body's soft tissues. A variety of manual therapy techniques are offered to enhance your Gyrotonic movement experience and to help you feel more at home in your body. Manual therapy is customized for each individual client, and may include myofascial release, structural integration, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, or energy work.
